The Arizona Ski Council (ASC) was formed as a local chapter of the Far West Ski Association (FWSA) which has over 50,000 members. Participating clubs in ASC are the , Arizona Outdoor Travel Club, Boeing Employee Adventure Club, East Valley Ski Club, Party Time Sports, Phoenix Ski Club, and Scottsdale Sea and Ski Club.

ASC was formed in 1991 to promote skiing and friendships among clubs, safety on the slopes, and general education of the skier community, while having a good time enjoying the
camaraderie of fellow skiers.

Arizona Ski Council is one of ten councils within Far West Ski Association (FWSA), encompassing Arizona, California, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon and Washington. We also are a Charter Member of the National Ski Council Federation.

Most clubs are year-round with a plethora of activities! Look for a club in your area and join! Links to the club website are provided for further information regarding that club. As an ASC club member, you can participate in all aspects of both ASC Council and Far West Ski Association ski trips and events. This includes ski trips, international trips and participation in the racing program. For individual member benefits, please access the FWSA or NSCF websites. 

Our annual event is Arizona Days , our big ski event in the beginning of December. This year over 200 ‘Zonies will be making their pilgrimage and will be taking over the little town of Telluride for three wild and wonderful days of skiing, partying and racing! The famous Jagermeister Cup is awarded to the winning club, filled with, what else, Jagermeister! Join us this December on this early season trip as we test out our skis and our stamina!
